Through faith Scott, Tessa, & their 3 daughters moved from CA to open the only AR goat dairy & cow creamery. Creating artisan cheese since 2011.
We raise and milk Nigerian Dwarf Goats on 14 acres of pasture in Elkins, Arkansas. Our family did an internship in Vermont and learned goat health and husbandry. Our herd is managed organically with humane treatment our top priority. We have a closed herd to protect from disease.
Our cow milk comes from our local dairy that is certified hormone free and antibiotic free.
Our dairy is located just 20 minutes outside of Fayetteville across from the White River in the Ozark Mountains. We started building our herd and dairy in 2011 and passed our final inspection in 2013. Scott trained at Vermont Institute of Artisan Cheese where he completed basic and advanced cheese making courses.
Scott and I both had a family background in farming though we had gone to college and become teachers. We raised our girls in a little town in the California mountains. So when God opened doors for us to move to the Ozarks and begin farming we were surprised how He had prepared us.
Our experience building our own home in the CA Mountains was a good way to prepare for building a farm, dairy, and yurts. We chose yurts for the architectural appeal and they went up quicker than a traditional home, allowing us to focus on the farm.

The first of two yurts going up. Home to our family of 5 from 2011 - 2024. Now tasting rooms.
We chose Nigerian Dwarf Goats and Argus, our great pyrenees for our dairy.

Once the dairy was built construction didn't end. There were expansions on the barn and hail repair just to name a few farm projects.
